I have been working out with Kay for a little over 3 years. I have never felt better about myself. He is a great listener. He first talks to you about your personal fitness goals and develops your personalized plan on how you WILL achieve these goals….and I have achieved my goals, thanks to Kay. He is great motivator….tremendous motivator. There are days I go in and I am just so tired, work all, a house and kids to take care and I walk in telling him that there is not way he is getting 100% of me that day…I actually walk out of there giving it 110%. He has such a wonderful way of getting you to do something you didn't think you are capable of doing. He gives you that push that you need and it never feels as though he’s pushing you. When it’s all said and done, you walk out of there feeling so great about what you just achieved. You also never get bored with a routine. He keeps each session very, very interesting. Sometimes I joke with him and tell him he changes the routine all the time because he doesn’t want me to remember the exercises on my own so I will continue to work with him. He truly is the best in his field. I have never worked with a more professional and knowledgeable person then Kay. I will continue to use and will always recommend him to anyone who is looking for this type of a service.

K is an excellent trainer! He really takes the time to get to know his clients' strengths & needs, and tailors their workouts accordingly. I've been working with him for some time now, but only recently got serious about weight-loss. I'm thrilled that, with K's expert guidance, I have lost 10 pounds since March 2009 (as of 5/14/09)! As an added bonus, I am getting in the best shape of my life, and am building my strength and my stamina - 2 very important things for running after and keeping up with my toddler!

I feel so fortunate that Kwaku was available to come to the phone when I called the gym for a personal trainer back in the fall of 2005. I wanted to lose weight to look nice for my wedding. I got so much more than that. Not only did I slim down and build muscle, but I also looked and felt more healthy and alive. I really looked forward to going to the gym for my workouts for many reasons - Kwaku's personality and his talent for personal training being among them.

He has such a positive upbeat yet down to earth demeanor. He is a real motivator in a non-aggressive but effective way. He got me to do things I never thought I could and do things that I would never have started or completed on my own during a workout. I began to notice that I could endure much more than I thought. I got in touch with an inner strength and determination reinforced in a very visceral way that I could call upon when needed outside the gym in both physical and interpersonal situations. As a long time yoga practitioner, I found my PT such a nice compliment to my yoga practice, allowing me to gain the degree of upper body and core strength required to practice more of the advanced postures.

Without an ounce of arrogance, Kwaku is a true gentleman - kind and considerate - standing by to ensure that you do the reps with your most challenging weight to get the most out of your session and not cheat yourself. He works with attention to form and alignment so you are working your body safely. He is talented with the choreography of the workouts, developing unique and effective sessions that address multiple parts of the body in an integrated and functional way. so, the workouts don't get boring. He keeps his ideas fresh with his own professional development by exposing himself to new techniques for working the body at various conferences, as well as his own yoga practice.

I recommend him highly as a PT for his creativity, his energy (which translates to an ability to motivate you and make the session fun), and his kindness and decency as a human being. And, if that's not enough, just look at him.. He obviously knows how to take care of and exercise a body. Just make sure not to miss his smile.

My name is Betty Papadakis and I have been training with Kay for 1 ½ years. I have belonged to a gym for many years and am very active. However, after just one training session with Kay, I realized that I was not working out and meeting my true potential. I own a busy Bagel Store and train with Kay twice a week after work. In addition to the great workout, it is also a wonderful stress reliever. Some other benefits that I have experienced are having lost 2" from my hips, toning my whole body, and I have also significantly lowered my cholesterol. Kay always varies his training exercises and I always feel that I have had a complete workout.
